Dr. Hamed Ali Al-Hashemi

Dr. Al Hashemi is responsible for leading numerous digital transformation programs including health information exchange, population health platform, disease registries platform, pandemic response platform, education hub, my health coach, population at risk program, predictive models for chronic diseases, data lake for healthcare, accelerated adoption of artificial intelligence, and advanced big data analytics, AI Innovation Lab and digital health foresights to ensure that Abu Dhabi maximizes the opportunities for citizen health by investment in data driven healthcare.

Formerly, he served as Executive Director of Strategic Affairs at the Department of Health, Director of Government Strategy and Performance at the General Secretariat of Executive Council of Abu Dhabi Government and as the Director of Economic Policy Planning at the Abu Dhabi Council of Economic Development. He started his career in the oil and gas industry with Abu Dhabi Gas Liquefaction Company Ltd. (ADGAS) where he headed the development, planning and engineering divisions.

Dr. Hamed received his Masters Degree in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School and his Doctorate in Business Administration from Cranfield University.
