Clive is currently working as a Health IT consultant, trainer, and deployment project manager.
He qualified as an electrical engineer in 1989 at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa.
He started his career in the Radiology domain as a CT and MRI technician.
In 1996 he shifted his focus to Picture Archiving Communication Systems (PACS) in the role of technical advisor and project management.
In 2006 Clive founded In2pacs a health informatics consulting business, specializing in health informatics, and healthcare standards such as DICOM, IHE, HL7 and more recently HL7 FHIR®
In 2016 he founded the In2pacs Academy to provide health and imaging informatics training to health system administrators and IT professionals.
He is currently president of the South African Health Informatics Association (SAHIA) and chairperson of the Private Healthcare Information Standards Committee (PHISC) Electronic Health Records (EHR) Standards development subcommittee.
